The Youth Summer Blast Pass – now in its third year – will be effective on May 18.  Youth between the ages of 6 and 19 can apply for a digital or physical pass and ride free on all TARTA services through the end of August. In previous years, this program had allowed free rides on fixed route, paratransit and on-demand services from the start of June.

Partial Funds Available for 2025 Capital Projects Section 5307. Written public comments on the proposed Program of Projects will be accepted by the Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority until the close of business on June 13, 2025.

Getting information about and communicating with TARTA became much easier with the launch of a new website in late April. The new tarta.com is designed with the customer in mind, providing easier navigation and a faster path to providing the information they want. 

As thousands of runners get ready to compete in Toledo, they’ll be able to take advantage of free transportation to and from the race from area hotels. TARTA will provide direct transportation to near the starting line at the University of Toledo on race day, Sunday, April 27.
