TARTA Gets You To The Garden For New Celebration Of Local Art

More than 150 artists are expected to display their work during the Toledo Festival of the Arts June 27-28 at Toledo Botanical Garden. Shoppers can make their commute to creativity easier by taking a TARTA shuttle to the event.

Paying for the service and boarding can be made faster and easier by downloading the EZFare app for those who plan on using it, but cash payments will also be accepted.

Shuttles run from Meijer every 15 minutes on both days of the festival, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Saturday and 10:45 a.m. Sunday. The last ride from Meijer to the event will take off at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday and 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, with return trips running until 6 p.m. Saturday and 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

TARTA fixed route riders can reach the event by using Route 20 to reach the Meijer or routes 20, 5 or 27 to reach Toledo Botanical Garden.
