Valerie J. Fatica, Michael Hart, and Rev. Dr. Willie Perryman, Jr. have been welcomed to the Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA) Board of Trustees as representatives of Lucas County.
“This dedicated group of public servants has done so much to help shape the future of public transportation in northwest Ohio,” said TARTA CEO Laura Koprowski. “We are excited to add new voices and ideas, and with specifics of a redesign plan coming before the end of the year, we look forward to their contributions as we build a reliable, equitable system that covers all of Lucas County.”
Ms. Fatica is an attorney with a practice in Toledo and a board member of the Toledo Bar Association. She graduated magna cum laude from Kent State University in 2005 and earned her law degree from the University of Toledo in 2008.
Rev. Perryman is the pastor of Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Toledo since 2005 and the President of the Toledo branch of the NAACP. He holds doctorates in divinity and pastoral theology, and has decades of community service experience with several organizations in Toledo.
Mr. Hart, who had previously served on TARTA’s Board of Trustees as a representative of Toledo, is the Executive Director of the Toledo Lucas County Homelessness Board. The Bowling Green State University grad also serves on the Board of Managers of Toledo Jeep Fest and the Board of Directors for Pathway, Inc.
