The Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA) will observe Christmas by running on a Holiday schedule Monday, December 26, and will also run on a Holiday schedule Monday, January 2, 2023 to observe New Year’s Day.
TARTA and TARPS vehicles will be in operation from 6:30 a.m. to 8:21 p.m. on Dec. 25-26 as well as Jan. 1-2, while Call-A-Ride trips will be on the road from 6:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. on those days.
TARTA’s information operators will be available at 419-243-RIDE (7433) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec. 25-26 and Jan. 1-2. The TARPS customer service line at 419-382-9901 will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and Jan. 2, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Dec. 26.
Both TARTA’s administrative offices and its Transit Hub will be closed Dec. 25-26 and Jan. 2. On New Year’s Day, administrative offices will be closed, and the Hub will be open to the public 8 a.m. to noon.
TARTA provides a vital link in the Toledo metro area to jobs, education, health care and other destinations. It enables everyone in our community to have access to transportation regardless of their age, race, physical ability or economic background. TARTA is underway with exploring and introducing new initiatives and service options that will enhance convenience and customer experience while moving our region into the future of public transit.
