The Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA)’s Hub of Hope program is approaching its first anniversary. This community outreach effort has provided a space for community organizations to reach those who need their services.
TARTA is excited to welcome several community partners to its downtown Toledo Transit Hub (612 N. Huron Street) in the next two months:
“We hear from so many customers who didn’t know these services were available or didn’t know how they could go about getting them,” said TARTA Chief of Staff Susan Gettum. “Through Hub of Hope and other outreach efforts, we’re keeping customers in touch with their community not only by getting them where they’re going, but by connecting them with the resources they need.”
Community partners interested in providing information or performing outreach at the Hub should email [email protected].
TARTA provides a vital link in the Toledo metro area to jobs, education, health care and other destinations. It enables everyone in our community to have access to transportation regardless of their age, race, physical ability or economic background. TARTA is underway with exploring and introducing new initiatives and service options that will enhance convenience and customer experience while moving our region into the future of public transit.
