For the first time since 2019, the Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA) will be able to get customers to religious services, family gatherings, jobs, and wherever else they need to go on Easter Sunday.
TARTA and TARPS will operate on Sunday and holiday hours, 6:30 a.m. to 8:21 p.m., this Sunday, April 17, and will also operate through Passover.
The TARTA information line at (419) 243-7433 and the TARPS reservation line at (419) 382-9901 will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. only Sunday, before returning to normal hours on Monday. TARTA’s downtown Toledo Transit Hub at 612 N. Huron Street will also open at 10 a.m. and close at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
Call-A-Ride reservation hours will also be adjusted for this weekend only. Rides for Monday, April 18 can be reserved either Saturday or Sunday.
Rides on TARTA vehicles remain zero-fare until July 31, 2022. Masks must be worn on board and in the Transit Hub through at least April 18.
