Get closer. Go Farther.

Rethink Your Ride

For just $3 per ride, TARTA Flex is an affordable on-demand service designed to connect suburban and rural areas with TARTA’s fixed-line service throughout Lucas County and Rossford, Ohio. Customers are able to book a ride 30-to-60 minutes in advance, or schedule a trip the day before.

How to use TARTA Flex

How much does it cost to ride TARTA Flex?

TARTA Flex rides are $3 one-way as long as both points are within a single micro-transit zone. Fares can be paid using the EZFare app, or with cash on-board your TARTA Flex vehicle.

Transfers between zones are $3 each, but TARTA Flex riders can transfer to TARTA’s fixed-route service free of charge.

You can book your Flex ride in one of three ways to easily summon an affordable ride in a smaller, accessible vehicle. It’s our way of connecting as many people as possible – both in the micro-transit zones and Toledo – with the great things this area has to offer.

If you are a new customer to Flex and more than 65 years old or paratransit eligible, call TARTA at 419-382-9901 first to set up your profile and access the extended service area.

Reserve a trip as little as 30 minutes before departure and as far ahead as the day before.
