Summer is around the corner, and TARTA’s programs and Special Event Transportation can provide an affordable ride to what makes this time of year special in Toledo and the surrounding area.

As you and your family make your way to festivals, museums, ball games and more, be sure to take advantage of:

  • Youth Summer Blast Pass: Riders ages 6-19 can apply for a Youth Summer Blast Pass and ride TARTA services for free all of June, July and August. With the help of the generosity of Greater Toledo Community Foundation, the City of Toledo and Lucas County, TARTA paves a no-cost path for youth to summer events, camps, employment, and more.
  • Muddy Shuttle: TARTA is thrilled to expand the Muddy Shuttle, putting Toledo’s fans in touch with Toledo’s Mud Hens. Customers can head directly to and from the game from park-and-ride locations in Toledo, Maumee, Sylvania, Waterville and Oregon for $3. The Shuttle will be in action for every Friday and Saturday Mud Hens home game after Memorial Day.
  • Toledo Jeep Fest Express: TARTA is a proud partner with the expanded Toledo Jeep Fest, and the Jeep Fest Express will allow parade-goers to avoid parking and traffic problems. Customers can park at Franklin Park Mall or Starr Elementary in Oregon and enjoy a $3 round-trip express ride to downtown Toledo.
  • More Special Event Transportation: Future TARTA communications will include more details for pick-up and drop-off times for Toledo’s Fourth in the 419, Oregon’s Boomfest, Maumee’s fireworks display, Uptown Maumee Music Fest, Glass City JazzFest, and more events.
