Doing Business With TARTA

The Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA) and the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce will host a free workshop to offer guidance to small businesses hoping to work with TARTA on projects in 2024 and beyond, in addition to rolling out updates to its Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program. 

What: Doing Business With TARTA 

When: Thursday, May 23, 6-7 p.m. 

Where: Crosby Conference Center at Toledo Botanical Gardens, 5403 Elmer Drive, Toledo 

Speakers will offer a review of upcoming projects at TARTA, answer questions on the procurement process and go over how to navigate TARTA’s purchasing web portal. Attendees can also hear about the details of TARTA’s updated DBE plan, and get an overview of next steps to qualify as a certified DBE.

  • Lenora McIntyre of the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Minority Business Assistance Center 
  • Michelle Nuveman of the Ohio Department of Transportation
