TARTA Transit Hub
Each day, thousands of riders get on a TARTA bus – trips that wouldn’t be possible without the commitment of the TARTA team, behind the wheel and behind the scenes. TARTA is looking for hard working, compassionate people who want to play a critical role in their communities and connecting people with the things that matter most. Join our team and become part of moving the region forward
The following in an outline of our hiring incentive directive to address the crucial need in
our operational elements. Effectively immediately, the agency is offering hiring
incentives for Paratransit Operators, Fixed Route Operators and Maintenance
Mechanics (“A”, “B” and “C”) personnel. Again, this initiative is effective immediately:
Operator Hiring Bonus: $ 2,000 total
Operator Hiring Bonus: $ 1,000 total
TARTA Employee Referral Bonus: $ 500 total
Note that all TARTA employees are eligible for the referral bonus, regardless of department or position.
This hiring initiative for Paratransit Operators, Fixed Route Operators and Maintenance Mechanics will remain in effect until such time we achieve adequate operational staffing levels, whichever comes first.
Please note, a hire must be in good standing with the organization to be eligible for the hiring bonus. In the case of referrals, the expectation is the recommended hire represents a satisfactory standard/status on the job at the time the agency initiates the incentive.
