Interpretation Service

TARTA offers Over the Phone Interpretation (OPI) on its Information Line—419-243-7433, option 1 then option 1,—for callers with Limited English Proficiency. OPI allows callers to speak with a TARTA Information Operator, through a translator, regardless of the caller’s spoken language.

TARTA Information Operators work with a coordinator for assistance in identifying each caller’s spoken language; including, but not limited to, Arabic, Chinese, and Spanish.

All language assistance services for Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority programs and services, including paratransit functional assessments and paratransit eligibility appeals, are provided to the public at no charge.
