Ride more. Save More.

Fare capping allows fixed-route riders to get the value of an extended pass without paying the full upfront fee.

As long as the rider pays with the TARTA Card or Tap & Ride through the EZFare App, the customer would not pay more than $3 per day, $15 per week or $45 per 31-day period for their rides.

  • Riders can access fare capping with our Tap & Ride option through the EZFare App.
  • The TARTA Card can be purchased in downtown Toledo at the TARTA Transit Hub located at 612 N. Huron St.
  • For more info see our frequently asked questions on account based ticketing.
