Quotation and approval processes vary slightly depending on purchase orders for inventory, non-inventory, or a requisition for services performed. Specific details for each project/item are available and will—in most cases—require quotes from multiple sources.
Once the appropriate number of quotes are obtained, they will be internally routed through the TARTA review and selection process. Once the vendor is selected, the paperwork will be processed internally for approval. Upon approval, the TARTA Purchasing Team will contact you with a purchase order number with the approved amount, or send an electronic copy of the approved purchase order or requisition. Only TARTA’s Purchasing Team can authorize services and/or supplies ordered.
