More than 2,000 runners will hit the Toledo’s streets for the Mercy Health Glass City Marathon on Sunday, April 24, and the Toledo Area Regional Transportation Authority (TARTA) will help them get there.
TARTA will support runners and fans with free, dedicated transportation between area hotels and the University of Toledo.
Buses heading directly to the event will depart from:
Buses will drop passengers off at the University of Toledo Transit Center on S. Towerview Blvd. Return rides to Secor Road, the Renaissance and Spring Meadows will leave from the UT Transit Center at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon, 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.
Rides to and from the event are free, for this event transportation or for anyone taking TARTA’s regular fixed-route service or TARPS to the race. Questions about race-day service can be directed to TARTA’s information line at (419) 243-7433 weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and weekends from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The information lines will be open on Easter Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
In addition to building the mobility system northwest Ohio deserves, TARTA is proud to seek out other ways to support the community it is proud to be a part of. Participation in the Glass City Marathon, Toledo Jeep Fest, and many more of Toledo’s largest events underscore TARTA’s commitment to the Toledo metro area.
