TARTA To Run Warming Buses For Passengers In Extreme Cold

TARTA will place a warming bus outside its Transit Hub (612 N. Huron Street) and at its Franklin Park Mall stop on Royer Road on evenings when the temperature dips below 20. The buses will be available from 5:30 p.m. until the last bus lineup of the day leaves at 10 p.m. 

Many TARTA services also run to or near Lucas County warming centers in the event of extreme cold. View a map of warming centers on the City of Toledo's website, and visit TARTA's routes page to plan a trip.
