TARTA Schedules Route 19 Job Fair

At a series of events this year, TARTA will make it easier for northwest Ohioans to connect to their next opportunity. 

TARTA is planning three Job Fairs in 2025 welcoming businesses located along specific TARTA fixed line routes, beginning with the Route 19 Job Fair on Thursday, July 31. This event takes place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lucas County Shares Services building (3737 W. Sylvania Ave., Toledo) and is a partnership with OhioMeansJobs Lucas County, Toledo Tomorrow and the Lucas County Department of Workforce Development. 

“For many of our customers, we are the only way they can get to work and other essential destinations,” said Sam Melden, TARTA’s Chief Communications and External Affairs Officer. “This job fair and the ones that will follow can provide a pathway to opportunity for customers and greater access to Toledo’s workforce for businesses located along the route.

“TARTA is more than just a way to get where you’re going, it can be a pathway to the next step and a better situation. We connect people every day with the places and people that matter most to them, and these events are just another way to highlight that.”
