TARTA Enhances Customer Experience With User-Friendly New Website
Getting information about and communicating with the Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA) became much easier with the launch of a new website in late April. The new tarta.com is designed with the customer in mind, providing easier navigation and a faster path to providing the information they want.
Created in a collaborative process with Station Four of Jacksonville, Florida, TARTA’s new site features an avalanche of upgrades benefiting customers and community members, including but not limited to:
- A trip navigator on the front page of the site
- Real time arrival information of TARTA buses
- Streamlined navigation, making it easier for visitors to find what they want
- Enhanced options and better visibility for those viewing the site on a mobile device
“This is a day I have waited for since I arrived at TARTA,” said TARTA CEO Laura Koprowski. “From the look of this site to its capabilities for customers and everything in between, this will be an incredibly useful tool to easily access the information that people who depend on our mobility system need.
“In making significant upgrades to TARTA’s technology and security in recent years, we have shown our commitment to innovation and customer information and satisfaction. This is the next logical step in that process. We will continue to look for ways to allow customers to provide a smoother ride on board TARTA and a polished, easy experience for those looking for information on tarta.com.”
TARTA’s is making use of Station Four’s eTransit™ product, developed specifically for public transit agencies, to create a seamless experience for the user and make it simple to plan a trip. In the coming weeks, TARTA’s services beyond fixed route – such as TARTA Move paratransit and TARTA Flex on-demand – will be incorporated into the trip planner, as well, presenting a full slate of options to TARTA customers.
TARTA’s new site was built with the capability of evolving as the needs of TARTA customers and staff change, and TARTA looks forward to continuing to develop this resource for its riders.
Empowering people to make connections.
