TARTA Shuttle Connects You To Maumee Summer Fair

The Maumee Summer Fair takes center stage in Uptown Maumee this week, and TARTA is offering an inexpensive option for parking and enjoying the festivities.

 

TARTA’s will run shuttles Saturday, August 9 from the Lucas County Rec Center (2901 Key Street, Maumee) to E. John and Conant streets and back, beginning at 9 a.m. The last trip back to the parking area from Uptown will depart at 12:30 a.m. 

 

Shuttles cost $3 round trip. Cash is accepted on board, but operators will not be able to make change. For a fast and easy way to board and pay for your trip, customers are welcome to download the EzFare app.

 

Maumee’s Summer Fair runs from 6 p.m. to midnight Friday and 9 a.m. to midnight Saturday, with events including:

  • Taste of Maumee 
  • Kids Zone 
  • Concert Series (on multiple stages, starting at 5 p.m. Friday and 6 p.m. Saturday) 
  • Vintage Car Show (Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.)

TARTA’s shuttle service from Lucas County Rec Center will run only for the Saturday portion of this event.
