TARTA Cuts Ribbon On New Apron

TARTA staff gathered today to celebrate a completely new apron at the Central Avenue garage, marking the first significant update to the bus entrance since disco music topped the charts.

Thanks to A.A. Boos & Sons for the wonderful work, and to TARTA team members for their adaptability during the construction process. Upgrades like this one will help us efficiently serve the community for another 50 years.

TARTA's fleet and facilities have undergone a series of upgrades in recent years, including:

• More than 20 new fixed route and TARTA Move buses
• A new employee parking lot, bus wash and roof at Central Avenue
• New office space and employee restrooms at the Transit Hub

With renovations to both the Board of Trustees meeting room and office space at TARTA Move continuing and much more on tap for years to come, TARTA continues to invest in improving the work environment for team members and the ride for customers.
