Special Event Transportation For Roche de Boeuf, Toledo Mini

The Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA) continues to connect passengers to northwest Ohio’s best events, with special event transportation to both the Toledo Mini Half-Marathon and the Roche de Boeuf Festival.

Runners taking part in either the half-marathon or quarter-marathon at the Toledo Mini (Sunday, September 22) can park-and-ride from downtown Toledo to the starting line in Maumee.

The first shuttles going from the first base gate at Fifth Third Field on Washington Street to the starting lines in Maumee depart at 5:30 a.m., with drop-off points in Maumee at Wayne & Gibbs streets (half-marathon starting line) and Carew Lane & Detroit Avenue (quarter-marathon starting line). The final shuttle will head to the starting line at 6:30 a.m. Both races finish in downtown Toledo, allowing competitors to walk back to their cars.

This service is free, courtesy of the event organizers.

Saturday, September 28, TARTA is connecting attendees to the 51st Roche de Boeuf Festival from 3 park-and-ride locations in the area. Shuttles to the parade ground start at 8:45 a.m. from Something Special Learning Center (8251 Waterville Swanton Road), BluSky Restorations (1300 Michigan Ave.), and Conrad Park (798 Michigan Ave.) in Waterville. These trips are free courtesy of event organizers, and will run every 10 minutes until 5 p.m. Shuttles will not run during the parade, stopping at 10 a.m. before resuming at 11:10 a.m.

  • 5 Outbound:  Via Cherry, Superior (R), Jackson (R), Michigan (L), Monroe (R), back on route.
  • 5 Inbound:  Via Monroe, Erie (L), Cherry (R), to front of HUB on Cherry.
  • 10L Outbound:  Use Huron all the way to Market Street (Summit will be closed).
  • 10L Inbound: Regular Route
    27 Outbound Via Huron, Cherry (R), Superior (R), Jackson (R), Michigan (L), Washington (R), back on route.
  • 27 Inbound:  Regular Route
  • 31 Outbound: Via Huron, Orange (R), Spielbusch (L), Follow to AWT South, Glendale (R), back on route.
  • 31 Inbound: Via Glendale, AWT (L) to Line up.
  • 32 Outbound: Via Huron, Cherry (L), Spielbusch (L), Follow to AWT South, South (R), back on route.
  • 32 Inbound: Via South, AWT (L) to Line up.
