Get In The Driver's Seat

Looking to turn the corner into a new profession? One step could be turning a corner in a big bus.

TARTA's Human Resources team is offering an interactive experience to give applicants an idea of what it’s like behind the wheel with Drive The Bus, which takes place Saturday, May 9 at 1127 Central Avenue in Toledo, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Applicants can stop by to apply, discuss open positions with TARTA personnel, and schedule an interview. They will also be able to try a bus on for size by driving the vehicle around TARTA’s back lot, under the supervision of Team TARTA members.

Applicants who want to get behind the wheel at this event must:

• Be at least 21 years old
• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Have a valid operator’s license with no more than 2 points in the last 3 years.
