Buses & Beats: Take TARTA To TECHLEDO

TARTA is ready to help the community face the music this weekend, with a $3 round trip shuttle from parking at International Park to the TECHLEDO electronic music festival at Glass City Metropark Saturday, June 13.

Park at The Docks (26 Main Street, Toledo) and ride the shuttle across the street to the event, which runs from 3-11 p.m. and features 16 DJs on three stages. Shuttles run every 15 minutes and begin at 2:30 p.m. The final trip back to the parking lot from Glass City Metropark’s Ribbon will load at 11:30 p.m.

Paying for the service and boarding can be made faster and easier by downloading the EZFare app for those who plan on using it, but cash payments will also be accepted.

For those taking TARTA’s fixed route service, routes 2, 10 and 12 run near Glass City Metropark. Paratransit customers may schedule a ride on TARTA Move by calling (419) 382-9901.

TECHLEDO features local and national DJs, and is one of dozens of events taking part at Toledo Metroparks for Watershed Weekend June 11-14.
