Rain, Snow, Wind and Flash Freeze Tonight, Feb. 4, 2021
Snow will spread over Northwest Ohio between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. tonight. The snow may briefly mix in with some rain, sleet, and freezing rain. Slushy, heavy snow accumulations of around 2″ are likely.
The rapid temperature drop will be significant, plunging from 34 degrees to around 17 degrees by morning from winds strengthening tonight with gusts to 30 to 40 mph as winds shift to the west. In addition, these west winds will bring in sharply colder temperatures that may result in flash freezing and slick roadways through the overnight.
Plan Ahead:
Plan on slippery sidewalks, hazardous road conditions and frigid temperatures. The hazardous conditions could impact morning commutes.
