The Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA) is set to help you face the music with special event transportation to and from the Glass City JazzFest Sunday, August 28.
TARTA buses will be heading directly to the event at Glass City Metropark (983 Front Street, Toledo), which runs from noon to 10 p.m. and features nationally-recognized jazz acts in addition to local artists. Patrons can catch the Glass City JazzFest Express from Franklin Park Mall, Boers-Boyer Way near International Park, or the Vistula Parking Garage on Superior Street for just $1.50 per trip.
Customers can pay with cash, through the EZFare app, or with pass purchased at TARTA’s downtown Transit Hub (612 N. Huron St.).
Customers will also be able to take TARTA’s fixed-route vehicles, which will be running on a Sunday/holiday schedule, to the event. Routes 12 and 14 stop near the Glass City Metropark. Trips to Glass City JazzFest for paratransit customers can be arranged by calling TARPS at 419-382-9901.
Sunday’s featured performers at Glass City Metropark include Marcus Johnson, Lindsey Webster, Joey Sommerville, Larry Fuller, the Latin Jazz Players, and the Brick Bar Allstars.
