In observance of Thanksgiving Day, the Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA) bus and Call-A-Ride services will not run Thursday, November 26, 2020. TARTA’s fixed route information line will not be available for calls or inquiries on Thanksgiving Day. TARTA’s paratransit service will operate and follow holiday hours of 6:30a.m. to 2:30p.m. The Toledo Area Regional Paratransit Service (TARPS) administered by TARTA is available to registered customers who due to a disability require door-to-door transportation service. The TARPS call center is available from 10a.m. – 2p.m. at 419-382-9901 for paratransit customers to schedule a ride.
TARTA’s bus, Call-A-Ride and paratransit services will resume operation on Friday, November 27 at its currently reduced schedule and routing due to the coronavirus. For more information about TARTA and TARPS services, visit www.tarta.com.
TARTA provides a vital link in the Toledo metro area to jobs, education, health care and other destinations. It enables everyone in our community to have access to transportation regardless of their age, race, physical ability or economic background. TARTA is underway with exploring and introducing new initiatives and service options that will enhance convenience and customer experience while moving our region into the future of public transit.
