It is the mission of TARTA to be the most innovative and responsive transit system. The reason TARTA exists is to enable people to access the activities of our community through public transportation. TARTA will provide access in a manner that is reliable, timely, safe, accessible, affordable and friendly.
TARTAâs services include fixed line, Call-A-Ride, Game Shuttle, Park-N-Ride and TARPS, providing millions of passenger trips annually throughout the Toledo region. Fixed line bus operators drive the largest of TARTAâs vehicles and must possess a Commercial Driverâs License (CDL). TARTAâs paratransit service, TARPS, provides nearly 300,000 trips annually throughout the TARTA service area for ADA-eligible passengers. TARPS operators drive smaller vehicles and are not required to possess a Commercial Driverâs License.
