Paratransit Runs Holiday Schedule, Other TARTA Services Closed On Labor Day
Fixed-route bus and Call-A-Ride services from the Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA) will not operate Monday, Sept. 6, in recognition of Labor Day.
TARTA’s paratransit service, TARPS, will operate Monday on a holiday schedule, with hours of 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Door-to-door TARPS transportation is available for registered customers with a qualifying disability.
Labor Day rides can be scheduled through the TARPS call center at 419-382-9901. Rides must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. The call center will also be open on Labor Day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
TARTA bus, paratransit, and Call-A-Ride services will resume normal hours of operation Tuesday, Sept. 7. Rides on TARTA vehicles remain fare-free through 2021. Masks are required to ride TARTA vehicles, and can be provided on board free-of-charge.
