Earlier today, the Lucas County Regional Board Health Department mandated virtual learning for grades 7-12 beginning Dec. 4, 2020 through Jan. 11, 2021. TARTA provides transportation services for students of Toledo Public School System and many charter, parochial and private schools. At this time, TARTA recommends that parents and students contact their school to understand how they will comply with this order.
With Lucas County currently under a Stay-At-Home Advisory through December 17, 2020, TARTA is reminding the community to only use the Authorityâs services for essential trips. Essential trips include traveling to school, work, grocery shopping, medical appointments and treatments, pharmacy visits, and participating in school meal programs.
