Following Governor Mike DeWine’s extension of Ohio’s ‘Stay Safe Ohio’ order until May 29, 2020, TARTA would like to inform riders of its COVID-19 measures moving forward.
As of May 1, 2020, TARTA will continue ALL current COVID-19 measures until further notice. Riders are reminded to only take essential trips at this time.
Services will also remain on Saturday service until further notice. Lineups begin at 9 a.m. and end at 6 pm. and run every hour and a half.
Current COVID-19 measures include:
• TARTA will not collect ridership fare until further notice.
• Wearing a cloth or paper mask facial covering while riding the bus to ensure the safety of drivers and riders.
• Practicing social distancing measures while waiting for buses and on TARTA vehicles. This includes a 10 passenger LIMIT per TARTA vehicle.
• TARPS rides will be limited to essential trips only. Call-A-Ride services are CANCELLED until further notice as well as ALL Express Commuter Services.
• The TARTA Transit Hub, TARPS and our Central Ave will remain closed until further notice.
