Service Change: January 25, 2026

TARTA is proposing major changes to routing beginning January 25, 2026, which if approved would impact nearly every route. TARTA seeks feedback on proposed changes, which would include but would not be limited to:

  • Service every 30 minutes for routes 3, 10, 20 and 31 between the hours of 6:30-9:30 a.m. and 2:30-5:30 p.m.
  • The extension of Route 2 to Lourdes University
  • The extension of both fixed route and TARTA Move paratransit service stop time, from 10:49 p.m. to 11:19 p.m.
  • The new Route 18, which would head to the Meijer on Alexis Road
  • The elimination of all route letters (i.e. 31H, 20F, 10L etc.). Branches of those routes would be covered by other schedule changes
  • The elimination of routes 14 and 52
  • Less frequent service on all routes after 6 p.m. (service every 90 minutes)

Public Meetings

TARTA has scheduled a series of public events in September and October to collect community feedback on service changes that, if approved, would take effect January 25, 2026. 

These in-person and virtual events will seek comment from the public and the business community and will focus on the Title VI equity analyses surrounding the proposed changes. Public meetings are scheduled for the following dates:

All language assistance services for TARTA programs are provided to the public at no charge. In-person translation services for events should be requested at least 5 business days prior to the event.
