In Lucas County alone, more than 40% of children battle food insecurity. That is why TARTA is partnering with local community organizations like Connecting Kids to Meals to help provide free transportation to local meal sites for children and families.
From May 28th through August 15th, Connecting Kids to Meals will prepare and distribute nutritious meals to children in Lucas County at no cost. Meals will be distributed from locations throughout the Connecting Kids to Meals service area Monday through Friday.
