TARTA’s Jeep_® Fest Express is back with enhanced service, delivering customers to the parade ground Saturday, August 5th for just $1.50 per trip.

Direct trips from Franklin Park Mall or Starr Elementary to downtown will begin at 8:30 a.m. and run every 30 to 60 minutes until the final Express trip heads to Erie Street and Madison Avenue at 1 p.m.

Trips from Madison and Erie back to Franklin Park Mall or Starr Elementary will also leave every 30 to 60 minutes, with the first trip leaving downtown at 10:30 a.m. and the final trip leaving the festival area at 4:00 p.m.

Jeep Fest Paratransit Service

TARPS will be providing ADA service for Jeep Fest on Saturday, August 5^th, 2023. Clients may book their TARPS ride to Jeep Fest by calling the Customer Service Representatives at 419.382.9901 Option 1. Be sure to inform them that you are booking a ride for Jeep Fest.

All TARPS drop off and return rides will be scheduled for The Erie & Madison Jeep Fest Express stop.

Cost: $3.00 per trip.

How to pay:

• Cash on the bus $1.50 each way
• EZfare App* (Available in the iPhone App Store, Google Play and online)
• A pass(purchased at TARTA’s downtown Transit Hub (612 N. Huron St.).

Available in the iPhone App Store, Google Play and online, the EZfare App allows riders to purchase daily, weekly or monthly passes online or through their mobile phones.

The EZfare app supplements all existing fare purchase locations and options.

The app is designed specifically for public transit users – meaning once a ticket is purchased, it is available even without an internet connection, so riders without data plans or limited data plans, are always able to travel.  

TARTA serves as the Transportation Sponsor for Jeep_® Fest, which welcomed more than 65,000 people from 37 states in 2021.

Customers will also be able to take TARTA’s fixed-route vehicles to Franklin Park Mall, which will be running on a Saturday schedule, downtown to Jeep_® Fest. Trips to Jeep_® Fest for paratransit customers can be arranged by calling TARPS at 419-382-9901.
