Transit Worker Appreciation Day is Friday, March 18
TARTA transit workers do it all—conduct pre-trip inspections, pick up riders, collect fares, answer trip planning questions—all while safely maneuvering vehicles of all sizes through traffic, around tight corners, and detours, and through all sorts of weather.
Our transit workers are dedicated to what they do, and they deserve a heartfelt thanks!
On March 18—Transit Worker Appreciation Day—join us in celebrating our hard-working transit workers! Here are several ways to express your gratitude and support:
Say “Good morning!” or “Good afternoon!” when getting on the bus, and a hearty “Thank you!” when getting off the bus.
Tweet a photo of yourself at the bus stop or relaxing on the bus, using the #TakingYouPlaces hashtag and tagging us at @TARTA_Toledo
Please say thanks to your bus operator on March 18 and every day of the year!
