(TOLEDO, July 24, 2020) – An employee of the Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA) has tested positive for COVID-19. This individual serves in an internal staff position and does not interact with the public. The employee last worked on Sunday, July 19.
Immediate action was taken, including the employee being directed to self-quarantine and analysis of any coworker(s) who may have been in less than six feet of contact for more than 10 minutes. TARTA already conducts nightly disinfection of work areas with CDC approved cleaning agents and is committed to continuing this practice.
