The Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA) hosted 5 public events to gather community feedback on upcoming proposed service changes, which include:
The purpose of these events was to seek comment from the public and the business community of these changes. These forums focused on the Title VI equity analyses surrounding the service changes. Public meetings were scheduled for the following dates:
Virtual meeting, Monday, Dec. 20, 2021 7p.m. to 7 p.m.
Virtual meeting, Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021, noon-1 p.m.
Virtual meeting, Wednesday, Jan. 05, 2022, 5p.m. to 6 p.m.
Virtual meeting, Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022, 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
In-Person Open House at the TARTA Transit Hub (612 N. Huron St. Toledo) Monday, Jan. 03, 2022, 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
The Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority will be accepting public comments about the service modifications that will occur March, 2022. Individuals may submit comments via email to firstname.lastname@example.org; by mail to Sean Smith, Development and Equity Officer, Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority, P.O. BOX 792, TOLEDO, OH 43697-0792; by phone with TARTA Customer Service at 419-243-RIDE (7433); or in person to a TARTA representative at one of the scheduled events. All comments must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, to be included as part of the official record.
