With the goal of connecting Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) firms to the information they need to work on transit projects, the Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA) will host a public outreach meeting Aug. 25 to outline its DBE Plan and procurement process.
Representatives of TARTA and the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will be on hand from 4-6 p.m. at the Main Branch of the Toledo Lucas County Public Library to discuss upcoming projects and how businesses can register to bid on those projects. Attendees will be able to get their questions on the process of working with the transit authority answered by TARTA staff, and this session will also provide the public and businesses with a chance to comment on TARTA’s plan and goals for DBE.
