The Help Desk Technician provides expeditious support leveraged through various backend platforms in order to meet and exceed goals and expectations that have been stipulated by our internal and external stakeholders. The Help Desk Technician will ask appropriate questions and use knowledge to diagnose and resolve issues.
⢠Serve as the initial contact for reporting technical issues and answering
questions regarding upgrades, installations, and other software/hardware/network issues.
⢠Troubleshoot and resolve computer, peripheral, and other end-user devices remotely.
⢠Work with client vendors to resolve issues with software or hardware.
⢠2-year degree in Information Technology or equivalent
⢠Excellent with oral and written communication.
⢠Self-motivated.
⢠Problem solving.
⢠Willing to learn new technology.
⢠Flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
Desktop Support
⢠Install and configure scanners and printers
⢠Install, upgrade and troubleshoot current desktop operating systems
⢠Add workstation, laptop to the network including wireless access
⢠Troubleshoot all hardware issues
⢠Install, configure and troubleshoot desktop applications Server / Network Support
⢠Windows Server services, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP
⢠Configure Printer queues / file shares / permissions
⢠Troubleshooting skills, event logs / log review
⢠Basic understanding of network connectivity, access points, Ethernet
