All language assistance services for Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority programs and services,
including paratransit functional assessments and paratransit eligibility appeals,
are provided to the public at no charge.
It is the mission of TARTA to be the most innovative and responsive transit system. The reason TARTA exists is to enable people to access the activities of our community through public transportation. TARTA will provide access in a manner that is reliable, timely, safe, accessible, affordable and friendly.
TARTA’s services include fixed line, Call-A-Ride, Game Shuttle, Park-N-Ride, and TARPS, providing millions of passenger trips annually throughout the Toledo region. Fixed line bus operators drive the largest TARTA vehicles and must possess a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). TARTA paratransit service, TARPS, provides nearly 300,000 trips annually throughout the TARTA service area for ADA-eligible passengers. TARPS operators drive smaller vehicles and are not required to possess a Commercial Driver’s License.
