TARTA Notice of Public Hearings:

Tariff Adjustment Effective September 1, 2008.

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA) at the Administration Building of Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority, 1127 W. Central Ave., Toledo, Ohio, at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2008, for the purpose of affording an opportunity for interested persons or agencies to be heard with respect to the proposed adjustment of tariffs of the Authority to be effective Monday, September 1, 2008 and an explanation by TARTA management of the necessity of such tariff adjustment.

Service Changes.
The Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority will hold public hearings at 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2008 in the Authority's offices, 1127 West Central Avenue, Toledo, Ohio for the purpose of presenting service change information to the public.

Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority--TARTA--has been the "Ride of Toledo" since 1971. TARTA has over 40 routes in and around the Toledo metropolitan area serving nine communities and carries almost 5 million passengers each year.

Every TARTA bus is 100% wheelchair- accessible and equipped with bicycle racks. TARTA’s other innovations include Call-A-Ride service in 6 different communities, biodiesel fuel use, and service to Fifth Third Field for all Toledo Mud Hens home baseball games.
